MIM: It should come as no surprise that Senator Russ Feingold is advocating American surrender to terrorists by voting against the Patriot Act and has introduced a resolution to set a date for Americans to retreat from Iraq. In 2003 Feingold met with members of the Blue Triangle Network a radical Islamist group which is aligned with the Mexican/Hispanic Nazi movement Voz Atzlan who are trying to turn California into part of Mexico (what Victor David Hanson calls Mexifornia) .http://newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/7/20/212247.shtml The Blue Triangle Network uses the triangle that Nazis used during the Holocaust to propagate their view that America is under a Nazi regime.

The Steering Committee is the decision making body of the Blue Triangle Network. It has the responsibility of figuring out how to advance the movement to stop the repression against Muslim, Arab and South Asian immigrants. Finegold pushes Bush for withdrawal timetable

Russ Feingold has introduced a resolution in the U.S. Senate calling on President Bush to create a timetable for achieving goals and withdrawing American troops from Iraq.
"Disappointment about Iraq is deepening. The majority of Wisconsinites are very skeptical of the way the war is going," Feingold, D-Wis., said in a telephone interview from Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning. "We didn't sign up for an indefinite occupation of Iraq."
The Wisconsin senator said there are three important questions the administration must answer:
n What is our mission?
n What is our time frame in which our mission can be accomplished?
n And over what period of time can our exit happen?
It's not a cut-and-run strategy, he said. Troops would have to remain, particularly to provide training for the Iraqi military. And the United States will have to concentrate on making resources available to help the Iraqi people rebuild their government and their country.
According to an Associated Press story, President Bush continues to press his argument that U.S. troops cannot specify a timetable for withdrawal until Iraq is assured of victory over the insurgents.
Bush to address troops
The president will make a direct appeal to the American public in an address to troops at Fort Bragg, N.C., on Tuesday night with a call "to complete a mission" the United States has started in Iraq. The White House is asking television news networks to make live air time available.
Feingold said a clear plan would help in budgeting more responsibly for current and future military needs.
The resolution does not set up a time frame for troop withdrawal. Feingold said that's something for the military commanders to decide. It does, however, call for a commitment by Bush to set a tentative schedule for withdrawal within 30 days of its passage.
The senator said he returns to Wisconsin almost every weekend. When he meets with his constituents, he has noticed the number of people who approach him asking when the U.S. government can bring their sons and daughters home has been on the rise.
"Soldiers are dying, the pace is increasing, and the people of Iraq are dying daily," Feingold said. "Our defense is being weakened."
With five more Wisconsin soldiers killed in Iraq in recent months, he said it's time to give people a vision of a plan for U.S. troops coming home.
Volunteer army tested
"About 7,000 of our 10,000 people in the National Guard have had to go over there," he said. "Our volunteer army concept is great. But some in the army are saying the military is in desperate straits."
Bush, speaking at a press conference Friday with Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, urged support for the U.S. effort in Iraq.
"They (terrorists) know that ... the carnage that they wreak will be on TV," Bush said. "They know that it bothers people to see death. And it does. It bothers me. It bothers American citizens. It bothers Iraqis. They're trying to shake our will. ... And so, of course, we understand the nature of that enemy.
"We also understand that there is reason to be optimistic about what's taking place," said Bush, pointing to the development of a new, democratic government in Iraq and training of Iraqi security forces that ultimately must defend the nation.
Feingold said he's concerned that if the military operations extend indefinitely, it could require more troops than would be available under the current volunteer military structure.
"If it becomes a quagmire, it could force a draft," he said. Ms. Samina Faheem Sundas, the Executive Director of the American Muslim Voice said; "I would also like you to write a letter on his behalf because he is being mistreated in prison. His bail has been denied. His right to a speedy trial has been denied. A glimpse from the DC conference Feinstein said: "Is that the guy who said ‘kill the Jews'?" Samina said: "Senator, I am un-aware of that but if Dr. Sami Al-Arian did, would that be enough reason to put him in prison? I know for a fact there are many Jews who say, kill the Muslims. Are we going to put all of them in prison? We chose you to be a senator for everybody...not just one group. As Muslims, we are not asking for any special treatment. Just due process, fair trial in an open court with open evidence for Dr. Sami Al-Arian." When Don Spark of the Blue Triangle Network asked her opinion about the secret detentions, she said "there was no such thing and no semantic rewording would budge her." She responded stating four terrorist cells had been un-covered with the Patriot Act. Feinstein repeatedly said she liked the Patriot Act, she voted for the Patriot Act, and she does not want to change the Patriot Act. Later the delegation met with the staff members of Senator Feinstein to discuss civil right issues. Cecilia Cheng of the New Americans briefed on Guantanamo Bay Chaplin Captain James Yee and Samina Faheem Sundas spearheaded the second round of Re-Registration which brought in Feinstein's Immigration specialist. She was unaware that a 2nd round was coming. The delegation advocated for the SAFE act and against the CLEAR act. The delegation met with Senator Russ Feingold, who was the only senator to vote against the Patriot Act. Ms. Samina Faheem Sundas told the Senator: "You are the only one who voted against the Patriot Act. I thank you on behalf of millions of Muslims. The delegation also attended the beginning of the Senate Judiciary Committee's oversight hearing on the Patriot Act and the White House CIA leak combined. This was an Ashcroft bashing session. He was castigated by every Democratic Senator for not appearing at the hearing, avoiding congress and the Justice Department's cloak of secrecy. On the second day of the conference, members of the California delegation went to the Capitol Hill for lobbying and met Senators Diane Feinstein and Russ Feingold. The delegation was stunned by Senator Feinstein's remarks that there is no evidence or testimony of abuse of the Patriot Act and that her office had received no calls complaining of abuse by the Patriot Act.
