Some will have to wait an extra day for the result of their exams while others will have to take them again during the summer vacation.
"...Fraud with final exams cuts to the heart of Dutch, of Western values: do your best, get good grades and a diploma and then procure with your own efforts a position in the workplace.

And especially an Islamic school with such a dubious track record obviously doesnt take this into account at all. The suspected students waged a guerilla war against the diploma society, and that under the nose of the parents and teachers.
Ibn Ghaldoun appears to be unworthy of the freedom of education according to the Dutch constitution, and warrants immediate closure. Beginning with the revocation of the examination license."...

Exam Thief Turns Out To Be Son of Teacher At Ibn Ghaldoun
One of the suspects in the theft of fifteen exams is the son of a teacher of natural sciences at the Ibn Ghaldoun School. The teacher was the director of the school for around seven years.
This was reported by the Algemeen Dagblad. The public prosecutor has confirmed that one of the suspects has 'a family tie' with a teacher at Ibn Ghaldoun.

The suspect, Anass B. (18) was arrested after Safae K.(18) and Kamal el B.(19) in connection with the theft of the vwo- French exams at the Islamic school in Rotterdam.
The Ibn Ghaldoun school came under scrutiny in 2007 under the former school director,the father of B. The Islamic school community used government subsidies to travel to holy places in Saudi Arabia for almost 200 people including parents and outsiders.

'Examendief blijkt zoon docent Ibn Ghaldoun'
Een van de verdachten van de diefstal van vijftien examens is de zoon van een docent natuurkunde op de Ibn Ghaldoun-school. Die leraar was ruim zeven jaar de directeur van de school.
Dat meldt het Algemeen Dagblad. Het Openbaar Ministerie bevestigt dat een van de verdachten 'een familieband' heeft met een docent van het Ibn Ghaldoun.
De verdachte, Anass B. (18) werd na Safae K. (18) en Kamal el B. (19) gearresteerd in verband met de diefstal van het vwo-examen Frans op de islamitsche school in Rotterdam.
Onder de voormalige schooldirecteur, de vader van B., kwam de Ibn Ghaldoun-school in 2007 in opspraak. De islamitische scholengemeenschap zou overheidssubsidie hebben gebruikt om met bijna tweehonderd personen, inclusief ouders en buitenstaanders, naar heilige plaatsen in Saudi-Arabië te reizen.

Dinsdag werd bekend dat de examendiefstal veel groter is geweest: in totaal werden vijftien examens gestolen. Het gaat om vmbo-t economie, havo Frans, Arabisch, Engels, Nederlands, geschiedenis, maatschappijleer en aardrijkskunde, vwo Frans, management en organisatie, biologie, scheikunde en wiskunde-A.
De leerlingen van de islamitische school moeten alle gestolen examens opnieuw doen tussen 19 en 21 juni. Leerlingen in het hele land van het vmbo-t die economie in hun pakket hebben, moeten een dag langer wachten op de uitslag.
Lees ook: Vermoedelijk circuleerden de gestolen examens al enkele jaren in kleine kring op de school. Ook op de onderzoeks-redactie van Elsevier vielen de hoge examencijfers op de school op.
Een kopie van de sleutel die toegang gaf tot de kluis waar de examens bewaard worden, is al in 2010 kwijtgeraakt. De vraag is hoe het zover heeft kunnen komen dat jaren later nog steeds hetzelfde slot werd gebruikt, en of er eerder examens zijn gestolen.
De onderwijsinspectie onderzoekt het bestuurlijk handelen van de school. De Ibn Ghaldoun-school staat al onder financieel toezicht en twee vmbo-richtingen worden door de inspectie als ‘zwak' beoordeeld.
