Will Team Obama Remove Hamas From State Dept's Terror List?

January 9, 2012

January 9, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - Though the Brotherhood's English website has the reputation of having been designed to make the Ikhwan appear more moderate, we find one of the lead articles listed under, "About the Muslim Brotherhood," a glorification of Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, who under the direction of the Muslim Brotherhood, founded Hamas. As one can see, the MB quite readily admits that it created the terrorist organization.

"Working as a preacher in Gaza allowed him to spread the MB ideas and to gather hundreds of supporters who later came to form the nucleus of Hamas. The message he spread was that the loss of Palestine in 1948 was merely a symptom of the stagnation of the Islamic Ummah. The solution he demanded lay in the reinstatement of Islam as a unifying political force by overthrowing all existing Arab secular regimes which he described as un-Islamic or anti-Islamic.< [source, http://www.ikhwanweb.com/article.php?id=23862]

The question occurs [given that Obama is now actively working with the MB as the Islamist organization prepares the way for implementing full Shari'a compliance in Egypt] whether the president will take steps to have Hamas removed from the State Department's list of international terrorist organizations, given its undeniable linkage to the administration's new Middle East partner?

If not, then why is Team Obama continuing to work with one of the world's most effective and unapologetic sponsors of terrorism, the Muslim Brotherhood?
