Netanyahu To J Street - Get Lost

June 9, 2011

June 9, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - Israeli PM Netanyahu has refused to meet with a group of anti-Israel U.S. legislators in the Hamas hotbed of Ramallah. The delegation consisted of some of the most strident leftists in the House including Sam Farr (D-CA), Betty McCollum (D-MN], Lynn Woolsey (D-CA], John Yarmuth (D-KY] and Steve Cohen (D-TN]. [see, YnetNews, http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4078936,00.html]. The George Soros funded agitprop organization, J Street organized the event.

J Street operates as a hard-left pressure group whose advocacy of accepting Israel's indefensible 1967 borders would result in the destruction of the Jewish state. It also favors negotiations with the Muslim Brotherhood created Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, "we would not oppose a decision by the Israeli government, the United States, or other countries to find unofficial, indirect ways to engage Hamas..." The organization is run by a lifelong Democrat operative, Jeremy Ben-Ami, who held a position in the Clinton administration and later signed on to the ill-fated Dean campaign.

J Street reps have also recently met with Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas [aka Abu Mazen] [see, http://jstreet.org/blog/j-street-meets-palestinian-president-mahmoud-abbas/]. Abbas was a long time functionary in the PLO terrorist group founded by Yasser Arafat.

In his memoirs Abu Daoud [architect of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre] charged that Abbas had written the check which was responsible for, "the financing of the Munich attack."[source, CNN, http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/si_online/news/2002/08/20/sb2/]. Creating a chimera of plausible deniability, Daoud additionally stated that Abbas [Mazen] didn't know for what use the money was intended.

To additionally flesh out Abbas' real agenda, upon his election as President of the Palestinian Authority, "Abu Mazen did little to allay Israeli fears that he is no different than Arafat. He said he dedicates his victory to "brother shahid [martyr] Yasser Arafat," to the "shahids and prisoners," and to the "Palestinian people from Rafiach to Jenin." The crowd responded, "A Million Shahids Marching to Jerusalem!" [source, Arutz Sheva, http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/75030]

Last year the Washington Times revealed that despite denials to the contrary placed on the organization's website, that George Soros was one of J Street's primary funders, "Tax forms obtained by The Washington Times reveal that Mr. Soros and his two children, Jonathan and Andrea Soros, contributed a total $245,000 to J Street from one Manhattan address in New York during the fiscal year from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. [see, http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/sep/24/soros-funder-liberal-jewish-american-lobby/]

If Mr. Ami wants to be a Soros puppet and jump to his master's commands, so be it, just don't expect anyone to believe that J Street is, as it claims, "pro Israel." The organization is an impediment to the security of Israel which no amount of sophistry will undo.
