Iran's Khamanei Pushes Development Of Deployable Nukes

June 3, 2011

June 2, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - In an interview given to the Cairo based, Al Qanat newspaper, Reza Kahili [a former member of Iran's Revolutionary Guard and CIA operative now living in the U.S] is claiming that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamanei has ordered that the production of tactical nuclear warheads must be accelerated so that they may be deployed on Iran's newly improved long range missile force as soon as possible.

This serious allegation follows on the heels of a related one, covered in a May 31 piece Ex Iranian CIA Operative - Revolutionary Guard Receives Nuke Capable Missile Warheads where we noted that the delivery apparatus for such warheads may already be in place.

"According to Reza Kahili [pseudonym, a CIA operative and former member of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, now living in the U.S.] a consortium consisting of Iran, Pakistan, China and the Ukraine has very likely made it possible for, "two missile warheads with nuclear capability [to] have been delivered to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)." The matter is of such concern to defense planners that according to the Al Qanat story, Mr. Kahili recently presented his evidence to the House Intelligence Committee.
