Did Holder's Justice Department Block Indictments Of Holy Land Foundation Unindicted Co-Conspirators?

April 14, 2011

April 14, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - - According to an explosive story, authored by Patrick Poole and published by Pajamas Media Did Obama and Holder Scuttle Terror Finance Prosecutions? Team Obama's "Justice" Department has, at the highest levels, quashed the indictments of several organizations and individuals named as unindicted co-conspirators in the nation's largest Hamas terror financing prosecution, U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation.

Below from a confidential high level DOJ source:

"It was always the plan to initially go after the [Holy Land Foundation] leaders first and then go after the rest of the accomplices in a second round of prosecutions. From a purely legal point of view, the case was solid. Jim Jacks [the U.S. attorney in Dallas who prosecuted the Holy Land Foundation executives] and his team were ready to go. There's a mountain of evidence against all of these groups that was never introduced during the Holy Land trial and it is damning. We've got them on wiretaps. That's exactly why many of these leaders and groups were named unindicted co-conspirators in the first round of prosecutions. But from a political perspective there was absolutely no way that they could move forward. That's why this decision came from the top down. These individuals who were going to be prosecuted are still the administration's interfaith allies.

The Holy Land Foundation case was the seminal event in establishing once and for all the nature of the elaborate Hamas support network which has operated, with near impunity, in the U.S. for many years.

According to evidence submitted at the trial, the Muslim Brotherhood, the revolutionary Egyptian terrorist group [which founded Hamas] over a period of decades, has created a myriad of front organizations which support the agenda of Hamas while at the same time carry out a clandestine plan to Islamize the West, with the intent of making it Shari'a compliant.

With the revelation that DOJ chose, for purely political reasons, not to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party who intimidated white voters in Philadelphia during the 2008 presidential election [see,] Poole's story probably shouldn't be that surprising, however there is a huge difference between the two matters.

Voter intimidation, though serious and worthy of being fully investigated, doesn't present a threat to the country. However, that is not the case with the active intervention of DOJ in quashing prosecutions of organizations and individuals which clearly pose a clear and present danger to U.S. national security.

If this story is true, and we have no evidence that it isn't, especially given Poole's reputation, there might well be high ranking individuals at DOJ who have committed criminal acts, making this a matter of extraordinary importance.

As one of the DOJ sources further stated

"This is a national security issue. We know that these Muslim leaders and groups are continuing to raise money for Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Ten years ago we shut down the Holy Land Foundation. It was the right thing to do. Then the money started going to KindHearts. We shut them down too. Now the money is going through groups like Islamic Relief and Viva Palestina. Until we act decisively to cut off the financial pipeline to these terrorist groups by putting more of these people in prison, they are going to continue to raise money that will go into the hands of killers. And until Congress starts grilling the people inside DOJ and the FBI who are giving these groups cover, that is not going to change. My biggest fear is that Americans are going to die and it will be the very Muslim leaders we are working with who will be directly or indirectly responsible."
