(Miami, FL) An article currently up on the homepage of the American Muslim Association of North America (AMANA) website was reprinted from and contains a link to the anti-Semitic web forum, Rebel News. A graphic from the site was reprinted as well.
The article, entitled ‘ADL to Attack Journalists and Publications Tying Israel to Wikileaks,' labels the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and AIPAC as "agencies of Israeli intelligence." The piece quotes an unnamed source stating that a group of mostly Jews from the Bush Administration "green-lighted 9/11."
Another article presently found on Rebel News discusses Arizona shooter Jared Loughner, using the title 'Just Another Freak in Jewmerica or Something Else?'
The individual responsible for posting the 9/11 Jewish conspiracy piece on AMANA's site is AMANA Director Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout. Zakkout recently lost his reappointment to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights due to his past involvement with a Hamas-related organization.
This was not the first time Zakkout posted anti-Semitic material on his website. Recently, in July 2010, Zakkout posted onto the AMANA site an anti-Jewish video produced by and featuring former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.
