FBI Stats Prove That Widespread American Islamophobia Is Nonexistent

This "prominent" group is none other than the Council on American Islamic Relations, CAIR, named as an unindicted co-conspirator in America's key terror fundraising prosecution, U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation, et al. In U.S. vs. Holy Land, the defendants were found guilty on all of 108 charges. Among those convicted was Ghassan Elashi, the founder of the Texas chapter of CAIR. He was already serving an 80 month sentence for a previous terror conviction.

Apparently content to further soil its already sordid reputation, once again CAIR is simply making it up as it goes along regarding Islamophobia and recent FBI crime stats prove it.

Of the 123 crimes committed against Muslims because of their religion only 5 were aggravated - serious - assaults.

If we are to believe CAIR's allegations, the United States is awash in Islamophobia, to such an extent that everyday Muslim American's cower in their homes, fearful of their fellow non-Muslim fellow citizens.

That characterization is fabricated, because the FBI statistics prove one thing, that Islamophobia doesn't exist in America.

Looking at this another way.

The odds of being struck by lightning are approximately 1:750,000 [source, http://www.lightningsafety.noaa.gov/medical.htm] making it about 4 times more likely in a typical year for an average U.S. citizen to be struck by bolt of electricity from the sky, than a Muslim has of becoming a crime victim because he or she is of the Islamic faith.

It is clear from the FBI figures that American Jews suffer nearly ten times the incidence of hate crimes as do Muslims, yet no responsible Jewish organization is claiming that the United States is an anti-Semitic country.

CAIR's act has worn exceedingly thin, at this point it is only propped up by elements of the leftist media and government agencies too cowardly to just say no to the organization's entreaties.

CAIR's perfidy in this matter in emblematic of actions it has taken since the group's inception, one must keep in mind that CAIR's DC national office was in part funded by the Holy Land Foundation, now recognized as a primary American funder of HAMAS.
