Islamist Child Abuse - How MAS exploits children to further their agenda

Last month, a video was released by the Muslim American Society's (MAS) Media Foundation – the first episode of its new program entitled ‘The Muslim American Perspective' or ‘MAP.' During one of the segments, footage was shown from an anti-Israel protest depicting a young boy holding a sign bearing the MAS logo. Given MAS's ties to an international terror syndicate and given the circumstances surrounding the individual the child was with, the demonstration (along with the video) was a clear case of exploitation of children, and it cannot go ignored.

On November 13, 2006, Mahdi Bray, the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation and a former convict, announced at a demonstration against Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that he was going to defy the law by sitting on the sidewalk in front of the White House. Whilst complaining about the American policy towards the Jewish state, standing alongside a young boy, Bray proudly said, "Because of my faith, because of my commitment, I choose to go to correct this with my hands by going over, sitting in that sidewalk, and offering myself to arrest."

Soon, Bray and the child – both holding signs with MAS logos on them and accompanied by protest goers – sat down next to one another in front of the White House gates. A circle of police vehicles surrounded the area. Over a police loudspeaker was heard, "You must leave the closed portion of the White House sidewalk now. All persons remaining on the closed portion of the White House sidewalk will be arrested."

The protesters walked off, leaving Bray and the boy alone with their signs. Bray said goodbye to the boy, and the police, whom Bray calls on his radio show the "po-po," moved in to handcuff him (Bray) and place him under arrest.

Of the MAS charade, Bray referred to it as an act of "civil disobedience," but how can a group connected to a violent movement overseas ever be described as doing something civil?

According to a legal brief filed by the United States government in December 2007, "MAS was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America." This is the same Muslim Brotherhood that accepts the terrorist group Hamas as being a part of its movement. That would explain the photo of the founder of Hamas, Ahmed Yassin, currently located on Bray's personal MAS page.

This type of environment – a protest sponsored by a pro-terror organization which lead to a planned arrest – is not exactly the type of environment that is conducive to a child's well being. And it's not just that the boy, who looked no more than eight or nine years old, was attending the event; it's that the boy was used as a prop, holding a sign with a MAS logo on it which read, "Save the Children of Gaza."

On July 9, 2009, a further exploitation of the child took place, when a YouTube video was released by the MAS Media Foundation featuring footage from the demonstration, including a close-up of the boy and his sign. It was for a show entitled ‘The Muslim American Perspective' or ‘(on the) MAP.'

The program was produced, directed and uploaded to YouTube by Murad Aldin Amayreh, whose MAS YouTube page contains "Friends" venerating Hamas, Hezbollah and Hitler, denying Israel's right to exist, spreading hatred of Jews, labeling the United States and Israel "TERRORIST," saying that "Islam will dominate the world," aligning with Chechen mujahideen, and calling for the "driving of Zionists into the sea."

The MAP segment was concerning Israel's recent invasion of Gaza, and once again the child was used as a prop.

Apparently, the boy is Mahdi Bray's son, as one supporter wrote on the national MAS website, about the protest in November 2006, "My wife and I saw Mahdi Bray and son on the BBC news." In truth, the boy entirely resembles Bray.

To place this youth in the situation MAS did and to exploit that situation on video for the world to see cannot be described as anything but child abuse. And the fact that Mahdi Bray would consider using his own son in this way – if indeed he is his own son – is without a doubt unconscionable. While abusing this child, he abused his individual rights as a parent.

As Hamas members are exploiting kids overseas, it seems their cousins are also exploiting them here in the States, molding the next generation's extremists. It is a sick and selfish means to further their hateful and violent agenda.
