Beverly Hills Synagoge Hosts "Interfaith" Event With 9/11 Hijacker's Mosque

By BEILA RABINOWITZ and WILLIAM MAYER

November 17, 2008 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills will be hosting an interfaith event with the Wahhabi funded King Fahd mosque, best known for having been the place of worship of two of the 9/11 hijackers.

According to the Washington Post, "In May 2003, the State Department refused reentry to the chief imam of the King Fahd Mosque in Culver City, Fahad al Thumairy, who also was a Saudi diplomat at the consulate in Los Angeles. The Sept. 11 commission report later said the State Department had determined "he might be connected with terrorist activity." The report [the 9/11 Commission] also said that two of the Sept. 11 hijackers, Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar, "spent time at the King Fahd mosque and made some acquaintances there." This event's Jewish presenter is New York rabbi Marc Schneier, who heads the liberal Foundation For Ethnic Understanding. The group's website states, "The Foundation is a national non-profit dedicated to strengthening relations between ethnic communities. We are committed to the belief that direct, face-to-face dialogue between ethnic communities is the most effective path towards the reduction of bigotry and the promotion of reconciliation and understanding." As these authors noted in an October 2008 piece Unindicted Terror Co-Conspirator Co-Opting Jewish Organizations.

"Given the track record of both ISNA and MPAC [the Muslim Public Affairs Council], the idea of Jewish groups partnering with these organizations indicates a serious lack of judgment. Moreover, the alliance grants undeserved legitimacy to these key agents of Islamism as well a serving to endorse their specious allegation of rampant Islamophobia."

The Muslim speaker at the Temple Emanuel event is Muzammil Siddiqui and two-term president of the Islamic Society of North America, a Wahhabist organization engaged in stealth jihad and which is listed as an unindicted-co-conspirator in America's most extensive terror funding trial, U.S. vs Holy Land Foundation.

Of note, Siddiqui is the imam credited with helping to convert al-Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn, aka "Azzam the American." [see, Phony Moderate Muslim Muzammil Siddiqui Disrespects Holy Father, "Popes come and go"]

During a 2000 anti-Israel rally Siddiqui was quoted as stating, "America has to learn…if you remain on the side of injustice, the wrath of God will come. Please, all Americans. Do you remember that?" He also said, "If you continue doing injustice, and tolerate injustice, the wrath of God will come." [source, http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=38715]

A co-sponsor of the event is the Muslim Public Affairs Council. Schneier has made an appearance at MPAC event and was photographed together with MPAC co founder and Executive director Salam Al Marayati who has defended Hezbollah as a "liberation movement."

"Interfaith dialogue," as it applies to Islam is fraught with peril, especially for those who are concerned with halting the advance of Shari'a.

As these authors noted in The Muslim Interfaith Charade "Understanding the new Islamist game plan - the stealth jihad - is important because so many resources are being devoted to it and the phenomenon itself is roundly misunderstood. As we have previously written, for example in Islamic Marketing 101 - Maha ElGenaidi Takes Da'Wa Act On The Road, "...Islamic speaker's bureaus are proliferating in the United States. They represent the vanguard of a new paradigm in jihad being waged by Islamists under the guise of "dialogue." [source, http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=rahman4.6.08.htm]

It is for this reason that rabbi Schneier's ill-advised event will yield nothing but another opportunity for domestic stealth jihad groups to further entrench themselves, boosting their status while gaining additional undeserved legitimacy. http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=schneierid=11.17.08%2Ehtm
