Amsterdam Muslim councilman hires Morrocan 'radicalisation expert' to deal with "hatefilled Muslim youth"

December 20, 2006

MIM: On the surface this would appear to be a wonderful idea - Muslims solving their own problems . A seemingly integrated Moroccan Muslim councilman from the left wing Labour Party hires a another Moroccan "radicalisation expert" to deal with Muslim youth.

The only caveat is that many taxpayer funded efforts in Europe on behalf of Muslim youth by Muslims have been known to spawn terrorists. The killer of Theo van Gogh, Mohammed Bouyeri, was employed as a worker at one of the council sponsored youth clubs and became increasingly radicalised. In the UK several of the July 4th bombers were members of council funded clubs set up by Muslims for the youth. Until now such schemes have proven to be fronts for Jihad recruiters to operate under the guise of religious or youth workers. Time will tell if this turns out to be the same story.

(It should also be pointed out that Muslim mole who worked at the AIVD - The General Intelligence and Security Services had started a group aimed at helping Muslims to utilise the media and was handing intelligence information over surveillance of radicals to the terrorists who killed Theo van Gogh._

Amsterdam neighborhood gets radicalisation expert

The Amsterdam district of Slotervaart is hiring an expert who will be specifically engaged with the extremism and radicalisation of the mainly Moroccan community in the neighborhood.

The expert was hired at the request of the district council. The chairman of the district council Ahmed Marcouch (PvdA) (Labor) says that he is worried about all the Moroccan youth who are hate filled and very radical. Radicalisation is becoming an increasingly bigger problem especially in the neighborhood of the Overtoomse Veld in the Slotervaart district.

The problem is significantly manifest, you see it with the youth, you hear it everywhere in the mosques and from parents.I am worried, claims former policeman Marcouch.

"These Moroccan youth look up to people like Mohammed Bouyeri (the killer of filmaker Theo Van Gogh) and Samir Azzouz who both come from the Overtoomse Veld. Family of both Bouyeri and Azzouz still live in the neighborhood."

Action program

The expert who was brought in is also a Moroccan who knows the problem. He will be paid with extra money that was made availablee by the B&W of Amsterdam. The expert, who is selected but has not yet become his work, has to produce an action program at the end of the year.

In this way we want to analyse what we think is going on, which groups and movements are active and what their thought processes are. You can notice something, but if you dont know the problem you cant come with a solution" according to Marcouch.

Amsterdamse wijk krijgt radicaliseringsexpert

maandag 18 september 2006 15:06

Ik maak me zorgen,' aldus voormalig politieagent Marcouch.
