An Arab stabbed a co-worker in northern Jerusalem this morning and fled the scene. IDF sources say a renewed Palestinian terrorist war is in the offing.

Yet another stabbing attack: Shortly after 7:00 this morning, an Arab man stabbed a co-worker in the Atarot Industrial Zone in northern Jerusalem. The victim was taken in moderate-to-serious condition to the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital in the capital. He was later reported to be wounded lightly.

The victim, a man in his 30's, was stabbed in his neck. He was unarmed, contrary to earlier reports according to which the terrorist fled with the victim's weapon. The attack occurred in the parking lot of the "Of Glatt" chicken plant.

The current spate of stabbings began on Feb. 18 in Maaleh Adumim, and continued Wednesday with an attack at the Gush Etzion junction, where two people were wounded. In two separate incidents on Tuesday, Arabs were caught with knives as they attempted to cross checkpoints; both admitted that they intended to murder an Israeli. Two more such incidents occurred today, in Hevron and south of Tul Karem.

Yesterday, Eldad Abir, 48, married and a father of two, was shot and killed in the gas station near Migdalim where he worked. The Palestinian terrorist murderers arrived on foot and fled the same way. They were not caught, despite a massive IDF manhunt involving a helicopter, checkpoints and large forces.

A stoning attack near Beitar Illit ended with the apprehension of one of the attackers by the Jewish targets.

Arutz-7's Kobi Finkler reports that IDF sources say Israel is facing the beginning of a renewed terrorist war, emanating from the PA-controlled areas in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Some 72 terrorist warnings are in effect, including 12 specific ones.

IDF statistics of the past two months show that 27 terrorists have been caught with knives. Attacks with Molotov cocktails are also up, and five bombs were stopped before they were able to be smuggled into pre-'67 Israel.

Six Kassam rockets were fired this morning by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, and five yesterday. Today's rockets hit open areas near Sderot and in the western Negev - as well as one in the ocean - causing no casualties or damage. The IDF responded with artillery at fields near the launching centers.

A Nahal Hareidi force of the IDF arrested four terrorists in the Hevron area this morning.
